Most of the personal information We will process will have been provided to Us directly by you to enable Us to provide therapy.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (‘the GDPR’), the lawful basis We rely on for processing this information is that We have a legitimate interest.

You might give Us information that falls under the GDPR’s definition of special category data. The condition for processing this special category data is “processing is necessary for….the provision of health or social care or treatment…pursuant to contract with a health professional…” (from paragraph 2(h) of Article 9 of the GDPR).

What We will do with the information We have

The information is primarily used to provide therapy. It may also be used for statistical purposes.

Personal information you provide to Us may be shared: in clinical supervision and peer-support groups, possibly with your GP, in provision to our accountants of our bank records which may include information that you submitted when making payment, if required by the law or government or a law enforcement agency or a governing body, and if it seems that to not disclose could result in danger of serious harm to you or someone else or danger to a child or a criminal or civil offence being committed or not reported. Also, in order to provide our services and operate our website, We use third parties. These parties include companies which provide functions such as email, telephone calls, text messages, Whatsapp messages, video calls, mobile phone services, backups, accounting, banking, payment processing, webhosting, website infrastructure, website design and website support. These parties may collect and process some of your personal data. In some circumstances, your data may be transferred to or stored at a location outside the United Kingdom and processed by individuals acting for one of these third parties.

How We store your information

Your personal information that We hold will be securely stored on a computer, and/or a laptop, and/or mobile phones, and/or within email accounts, and/or in a locked box.

Online banking will hold your data if you use it. For accounting purposes We may download from online banking. Whatsapp, Google Drive, Android, Sony, Google, Tuta, Fasthosts, Microsoft and Zoom may hold your data.

We keep personal information that We hold for as long as is necessary, and then dispose of it by deleting it and destroying any paper records.
